Privacy Policy — tdw-clipper

Last updated: 2026-05-31

Tdw Media ("we", "us") operates tdw-clipper, a self-hosted tool that turns a livestream into short-form video clips and, after the operator reviews and approves them, uploads them to the operator's own connected social accounts (including YouTube).

What this app accesses

When you connect a YouTube account, you grant tdw-clipper access via Google OAuth to:

We do not request access to your viewing history, subscriptions, or private account data beyond what those scopes provide.

What we store, and where

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to call the APIs of the platform you chose to publish to (e.g., Google/YouTube).

YouTube API Services

This application uses YouTube API Services. By using it you are also agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Revoking access

You can revoke tdw-clipper's access to your Google/YouTube account at any time via the Google security settings page. Revoking access stops all future uploads; any clips already uploaded remain on your channel until you remove them.

Data retention & deletion

Because the app is self-hosted, the operator controls retention. Stored tokens and clip data can be deleted by the operator at any time (disconnecting the account removes its stored tokens). To request deletion of data the operator holds about you, contact us below.

Children

tdw-clipper is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.
